Fabled Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is a safe haven for animals in need, providing rehabilitation, care, compassion, and second chances to those who have experienced neglect, abandonment, or hardship.

Located in Middle Tennessee, the sanctuary is home to a wide variety of rescued animals—from pigs and goats to horses, cats, and dogs—each with their own story and place in the herd. The mission of Fabled Farm is to find homes for the hundreds of animals that come through the program every year and sanctuary for the ones that cannot be adopted due to medical or behavioral issues. The program is rooted in respect, healing, and advocacy, offering animals not only shelter, but the dignity and love they deserve. Through education, rescue, and community outreach, the farm is committed to creating a kinder world for all beings.

2019 INTERN

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents.

I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.

LESLIE MARIE SIMPSON

April and Bryan founded Fabled Farm in 2019 with a shared vision: to build a rescue and sanctuary where animals are valued as individuals. With backgrounds in animal care, advocacy, business, photography, and creative storytelling, the couple combined their talents to grow the rescue into a thriving haven and social presence.

April leads the charge in daily animal care and content creation, while Bryan keeps things running behind the scenes—whether it’s building fences, handling medical emergencies, or rescuing the next creature in need. Together, they’ve created more than just a sanctuary; they’ve built a place where animals heal, thrive, and sometimes even become stars.
